Two of Our Favorite Cities for a Fall Conference!

Once the leaves start changing color, your dusty old sweater needs to be taken out of storage, and your favorite drink is back at Starbucks, then it must be time for Fall! If you’re planning an event or a conference, then these two cities should be at the top of your Fall list! With seasonal holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, there’s a lot of festivities to keep you in the fall spirit. With lower chances of rain and snow, these two spots are all about keeping things cool. OK mother nature, I hear you- maybe we shouldn’t be generalizing!

So, with these two cities offering up some fine charm and gorgeous colors, here are some places where you should consider having your next conference.

1. Philadelphia

With over 12,000 hotel rooms within the center city (yes 12,000), Philadelphia is ranked as our number 1 favorite city for an Autumn conference. Before we list our reasons, just look at these pictures of Philly in the fall! Don’t you wish you were there right now?

And according to Google the weather forecast ain’t so shabby either.

Fall Conference

That said, you’re probably wondering what’s in Philadelphia that would make it so appealing for our conference in the fall? So we made a list:

a. Visiting a really creepy haunted house

b. Exploring historical old city

c. Being one with nature in Fairmount Park

It’s also a breeze to get to! 25 airlines fly in and out of their airport (252 departures to 130 non-stops). There’s literally nothing stopping you from going to Philly!

2. Washington D.C.

Number 2 on our list is DC! 202! We aren’t sure if they say that there so don’t quote us but DC in the fall is amazing for a conference or event. DC hosts 132 hotel rooms and 31,673 rooms! Check out some of these things to do during your autumn meeting:

a. The National Arboretum is gorgeous

b. A plethora of history and historical monuments

c. Fall concert series at National Gallery of Art

The weather rivals Philly too.

Fall Conference

I don’t hate it. DC has a lot to offer a Fall conference and it doesn’t even have to be political!
